A new time table

Hi everyone,

how are you ? the end of my first time table is becoming to an end and I know I have to move on, but I am leaving many things behind like enjoying my ride with Julio and talking with someone of my same age in spanish. I know god puts on the way good people around, but it is hard to say bye to someone after you see it every week and talk with them. I hope I can keep in touch with him and that next semester we can see each other often again. On the other hand, I hope I can keep up with the schedule from 1pm to 10pm because I am like a little kid that goes to sleep at 10:30pm but I guess that would have to change like my friend Julio says that the minimium hour I will go to sleep is 12 at that sounds scary hehe. Take care hope to see you all soon bye

SAIT- Highwood

Hi everyone,

how is class going ? I am really happy today because my mom is coming back from Venezuela after 5 weeks there and I have missed her so much, but I think I have grown a bit because I feel I little bit more independent well it is part thanks to friend Julio. However, I now have the key to my house like before when I lived in Venezuela. On the other hand, things are getting tough because in three weeks I finished to of my courses and I have to hand in one of my big projects, but I think I have had fun doing that project even though there are many things left to do. From November 5Th on I will be doing food production and bartender I hope I have fun in the Highwood restaurant at SAIT. Bye hope to see you soon !!

Exotica

Hi everyone,

how are you ? time passes really fast we are almost in the middle of October and winter is coming soon. My life in SAIT is getting better each time at least I do not eat alone or anything else and my mom has been gone for a month now it has been okay because at least I chat with my friends and eat with them at lunch time. We are building a fake restaurant and night club and it is pretty amazing. We have to do all the cost and find a place that is available for that restaurant and what are we going to do each night. Find a way that the restaurant can stand out for itself from he rest using entrepreneurship that is a subject that I see which is how to be innovative. Today I will go and cut my hair a bit to give my hair some shape. Well I hope life at U of C is very good take care bye

An interesting weekend

Hello Everyone,
long time without writing in my blog , but I think it is great to have something to write about. Today I did many things in the same day ha ha. First I went to the mass but the mass was in Spanish it was great to go to church and see the priest talking in Spanish. In fact, I am going to do my confirmation in Spanish here in Calgary is it it great ? Well I register for the course today and it starts October 7Th and I do my confirmation April 13Th. For those of you who does not know what is a confirmation is a religious ceremony were you as an adult and accept all your belief of the Catholic church. Then there was an event outside the church were all the Latin countries had typical food of their country and the money that they recollected in the event was to help the church. Then after that event I went to a picnic in Bowness Park organized by the Venezuelan association and there were around five hundred Venezuelans in that place it was great.

The End of a New Beginning

Hello everyone,
today was the end of EAP 3 classes , but it was a great experience for me to have the chance to share with you the pot luck and the thankful activity. The mos interesting part of today that after finals exams we are all going to start a new life that came maybe faster than we thought. For me it has been three semester in the LEAP Program and there are people that I have known for a long period of time. However, it has been great to know different people from different parts of the world and people that have come and gone to other places during my study in the LEAP, but each of them has make a mark in me. I wish you all the best in your degrees and in your jobs. It has been a great experience and I think I have learned a lot from all of you and from all my instructors until know. I am leaving to SAIT hopefully someday will meet again. Good luck to everyone.
Stephanie
